TAIPEI, Taiwan – Taiwan’s exports in March have surged 17 per cent to $27 billion year-on-year amid strong demand for the island’s high-tech goods. The Finance Ministry said Monday that imports for the month also rose 17 per cent from a year earlier to $25.5 billion.
