Taiwan-based Green Energy Technology aims at 230MWp for 1H10 solar-grade wafer shipments, says president (Digi Times)
Green Energy Technology (GET), a Taiwan-based maker of solar-grade crystalline silicon ingots and wafers, expects to ship an equivalent of 230MWp in wafers during the first half of 2010, 92% of its 2009 shipments of 250MWp, according to company president Lin Her-long.

Taiwan company to buy GE solar plant (The Delaware Business Ledger)
Motech Industries Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire GE Energy¡¦s Delaware solar module assembly operation. The plant, which is located in Glasgow, south of Newark, assembles crystalline silicon based photovoltaic modules. The plant currently employs 75 people. Motech is based in Taiwan.
