Taiwan market: HTC launches Android-based HTC Wildfire
High Tech Computer (HTC) has launched its new Android-based smartphone, the HTC Wildfire, in the Taiwan market in cooperation with 3G carrier Taiwan Mobile. The NT$11,900 (US$372) suggested retail price is the lowest introductory price thus far for the company’s Android lineup.

Taiwan market: Panasonic to launch 3D plasma TV in August-September
Panasonic will launch a 50-inch 3D plasma TV in the Taiwan market in late August or early September, and the company aims to sell 180,000 flat panel TVs, including 2,000 3D TVs, in Taiwan during fiscal 2010 (April 2010-March 2011) to rank among the top-three vendors, according to Panasonic Taiwan.
