Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) has set a contract-bundled sales goal of 100,000 tablet PCs, including iPad 2, in the Taiwan market in 2011 but sold only nearly 20,000 units in the first half of the year. Therefore CHT sees landing licensing from Apple to sell iPad 2 as crucial to hitting its target, according to CHT.
