Taipei’s new Performing Arts Centre is finally finished, late and over budget, but, as architect Rem Koolhaas said, ‘well worth it’

The building was inspired by a hotpot, took 10 years to build instead of three, and cost almost twice the expected budget, but officially opens in August with a stunning line-up for its first season.
